The Social Contract

"I speak as myself. I attack ideas, not people. I accept that changing my mind is growth, not weakness. The record of my opinions is mine, and I stand by the journey."

What Is This?

Kronos Opinions is a place to state what you believe. Not perform it, not rage-bait it, not hide behind it. Just state it โ€” publicly, as yourself โ€” and have that statement exist in a permanent timeline of who you are and what you think.

The Rules

  1. You speak as yourself. Every opinion is tied to your KronosID. There is no anonymity. This is the accountability that makes honest discourse possible.
  2. Attack ideas, not people. "I think this policy is wrong" is an opinion. "People who believe X are idiots" is an arrow. We distinguish between the two.
  3. The timeline is permanent. When you change your mind, the old opinion is preserved in history. Not as punishment โ€” as dignity. Growth is human.
  4. Every opinion is proven. Each planted flag receives a cryptographic proof in the Kronos Weave โ€” an immutable timestamp that proves you said this, at this moment.

Flags and Arrows

There's a difference between planting a flag and firing an arrow. A flag says "here I stand." An arrow says "you are less." We use AI to detect arrows dressed as opinions โ€” not to censor, but to label. The user can always rephrase. Transparency beats moderation.

The Proof Layer

Every opinion you plant is hashed and committed to the Kronos Proof-of-Existence Weave โ€” a continuous chain of cryptographically linked moments. This means:

  • You can't fake when you said something
  • You can't erase that you said it
  • Anyone can independently verify the proof
  • When you change your mind, both the old and new opinion are provably timestamped

This is the truth layer. It doesn't judge your opinions. It just proves they existed.

What We're Not

  • Not a social network. No followers, no feed, no algorithm.
  • Not a comment section. Opinions are first-class, not reactions.
  • Not a voting platform. Nuance over binary. Spectrums and statements, not thumbs.
  • Not a debate platform. Plant your flag, don't argue.
  • Not anonymous. That's the entire point.
